Bell Rock Inn Review – Sedona, Arizona (2024)
Want to know what it’s like to stay at Bell Rock Inn in Sedona, Arizona? We’ve got you covered with everything we learned during our recent stay there!
Bell Rock Inn is a Diamond Resorts timeshare in Sedona, Arizona.
Recently, Hilton Grand Vacations bought out Diamond, so they are the new owners and operators of this resort.
Like many timeshares, you don’t have to own either one of those to be able to stay here.
It’s available for booking directly or on your preferred booking platforms.

Bell Rock Inn Sedona Review
Bell Rock Inn is a smaller, older property tucked away just South of the historic town center of Sedona.
This makes Bell Rock Inn one of the more affordable timeshare properties in the area since others are newer, closer to the main attractions of Sedona, or just bigger.
But if you’re going to be driving around anyway, what’s 5 more minutes?
Room Types
When we stayed at Bell Rock Inn we booked a studio.
The studios here are larger than most and come with more amenities than many others.
It’s definitely a quirky layout, but we liked it.
Kitchen
Immediately when you enter, there’s a microwave and mostly full sized refrigerator to your right.
I pulled some snippets from our YouTube video to help show you an idea of what the room looks like.
Then on the left is a partial kitchen with a stove top, there’s just no oven, which is common for timeshare studios.
You’ll see there’s also a dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, and in the cabinets are plates, bowls, utensils, cook ware, cups, mugs, and other things you’d need to cook in the room.
If something is missing, you can always call the front desk to see if there are any extras.
There’s a table here as well so you have a proper place to eat or you can use it as a work desk.
We do both.
Living Room
This area also doubles as the living room area.
You can see in the photo above that there is a tv and fireplace here.
Just behind this frame is a couch, some end tables, and foot rests.
Funny enough, these are the same couches that Diamond uses at their Palm Canyon Resort in Palm Springs and Riviera Beach & Shores Resort in Capistrano Beach, California!
Bedroom
Next up is the sleeping area.
I can’t really call it a bedroom since it’s a studio, but it is tucked away in it’s own corner of the room and with it’s own closet.
Bathroom
For the bathroom, there is a separate vanity outside of the bathroom so that two people can be getting ready at the same time.
My favorite part of this room, other than the fact it had a quirky layout was that it had a nice sized tub that was perfect for soaking in at the end of the day.

Room Pricing
As I mentioned before, Bell Rock Inn is one of Diamond’s cheaper properties.
There are actually several in Sedona to choose from, which gives them the ability to offer this one at such a steal.
With our timeshare, we used 250 points to stay here for 2 nights in January.
With what we’ve paid into our timeshare, this is the equivalent of about $130 for the whole stay, or $65 per night.
We purchased our timeshare with the intention of only using our points at properties where we would be spending less than about $125-$150 a night since that’s what most hotel rooms would cost after taxes, fees, and parking.
When booking directly, paying cash, much of the year the rooms still go for less than $100 a night, so it’s a great deal to stay here whether you’re an owner or not!

Resort Amenities
We actually didn’t use any of the resort amenities while we stayed here since we were working and exploring the local area mostly.
However, I do know that Bell Rock Inn has a pool, hot tub, fitness center, playground, barbecue grills, and on-site laundry.
Overall Experience
Overall, we loved staying at a nice, quiet resort just outside of Sedona.
Using our timeshare points here allows us to stretch our points as far as possible and get even more stays.
We loved having a fireplace and bath tub in the room since it was January when we visited and we wanted to be cozy.
This visit was part of a work-cation, so having a nearly full sized refrigerator and all the other kitchen amenities allowed us to cook our meals in the room while we were working, which is a huge money and time saver.
One thing to keep in mind here is that there are no elevators.
It’s a 2 story resort, so if you absolutely cannot take the stairs or bring your luggage up the stairs, you’ll need to disclose that when you book your room.
Even better, book an accessible room if you need it so you’re guaranteed to be on the first floor.

More Of Our Favorite Places To Stay In Arizona
We love to take weekend getaways all throughout Arizona.
These are some of our favorite places to stay outside of Phoenix.
Kingman KOA
We stayed in a camping cabin here when we were moving from California to Ohio and loved it.
It’s perfect for road tripping across the country or along Route 66.
Harrah’s Ak-Chin Resort & Casino
Harrah’s Ak-Chin is just outside of Phoenix and they are actually part of Caesar’s Rewards, so it’s easy to earn free nights here.
Legacy Golf Resort
Legacy Golf Resort is part of Shell Vacations Club and Club Wyndham.
We stayed in a studio room, which is much larger than most timeshare studios we’ve ever stayed in.
Our Favorite Diamond Timeshare Resorts In The US
We’ve been timeshare owners for several years now and we’re on a mission to stay at every property at least once.
Diamond Resorts has been recently bought out by Hilton Grand Vacations, so these resorts will mostly just be changing in management only – except for Marquis Villas Resort in Palm Springs, which permanently closed.
These are our favorites so far.
Ka’anapali Beach Club – Maui
Ka’anapali Beach Club is located on Maui and is one of the most coveted of all of Diamond’s properties.
It’s in a great location, just down the road from Lahaina.
Plus, we enjoyed having the full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, and our beautiful ocean view.
Polo Towers – Las Vegas, Nevada
Polo Towers is right on the Las Vegas Strip, across from The Cosmopolitan.
We love the central location of this resort, as well as having a full kitchen because most Vegas hotels today have their fridge full of drinks that have insane mark ups, making them un-useable for yourself.
We’ve stayed in a variety of room types here over the years including a Two Bedroom, Studio Efficiency, and 1 Bedroom Accessible Room.
San Luis Bay Inn – Avila Beach, California
San Luis Bay Inn is located in a small beach town about an hour and a half north of Santa Barbara and and only about 10 minutes from San Luis Obispo.
The resort is right along the beach and in walking distance to the entire beach promenade.
Riviera Oaks Racquet Club – Ramona, California
Ramona, California is a small town about 40 miles northeast from San Diego.
It’s in a rural area that has a newly growing wine region, making for a great laid back resort experience.
Grande Villas Resort – Orlando, Florida
Grande Villas is just outside of Disney Springs, so it is conveniently located to all things Disney!
There is an on-site pizza & deli restaurant, full bar, and Starbucks coffee too.
The tub is really the highlight of the room though.
Grand Beach – Orlando
Grand Beach looks like the Grand Floridian, but it’s not.
It’s located about 10 minutes from Disney Springs and it’s a quiet resort.
They are super affordable and have 2 pools you can enjoy.
Aqua Sol – Orlando
Aqua Sol, formerly Liki Tiki Village, is the most resort style timeshare we’ve ever stayed in.
They have their own water park, mini golf course, and tons of other resort amenities.
Newly renovated and so cheap, it’s a favorite for Orlando visits.
Cypress Pointe – Orlando
Cypress Pointe is another Hilton resort and it is actually right across the street from the Grande Villas resort!
The studio rooms here are unique in that they are more like a honeymoon suite and they are so affordable considering they are right outside of Disney Springs.
Historic Powhatan Resort – Williamsburg, Virginia
We absolutely loved staying at this resort in Williamsburg.
It was one of our more affordable timeshare visits and the unit had everything we needed.
We had just a One Bedroom, but it was 3 stories and set up like a townhome.
The first floor was the entrance, the second floor had a kitchen, dining room, full bathroom, bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and laundry.
Then the top floor was like a converted loft or attic with a tv, couch, and coffee table.
The Suites At Fall Creek – Branson, Missouri
Branson is known for their entertainment, as well as having great outdoor activities, and their own theme park.
This resort is the perfect place to stay to see it all in Branson.
We love Diamond’s resort in Branson.
It’s set back along a creek, hence the name, so it’s a quite woodsy experience just outside of town.
It’s still close enough to everything too.
What we loved about this room was the counter space in the kitchen, the screened in porch, and the open layout of the room.
The One Bedroom layout here could easily be the equivalent of a real one bedroom apartment.
Varsity Clubs of America – Tucson, Arizona
This resort is the only place we stay in Tucson and we drive through here A LOT on our frequent road trips.
If you book within 30 days of your visit it’s pretty cheap.
We love the pool and hot tub here because it usually stays warm enough in the evenings to enjoy both.
It’s a quieter, no frills place and it’s right in the middle of town, centrally located to everything in Tucson.
The One Bedroom units are perfect with their full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, and dining table.
Varsity Clubs of America South Bend – Indiana
South Bend is famously known as the home of the University of Notre Dame.
Varsity Clubs of America is a great, inexpensive place to stay when you’re visiting the area.
It also makes for a great home base for day trips to places like Indiana Dunes National Park and Chicago.
Palm Canyon Resort – Palm Springs, California
Palm Canyon Resort is the premiere timeshare resort in Palm Springs.
We love staying here for fun stay-cations every so often because it’s always discounted within 30-60 days or less of travel.
They have a great pool with a hot tub and water slides built into the rocks.
Mystic Dunes Resort – Orlando, Florida
Mystic Dunes is one of the Diamond timeshares that really has a resort vibe, but the setting of being in Orlando, Florida probably plays a big part in that.
It’s just south of Disney World, with easy access to the parks.
The rooms are spacious and well kept, with just about every amenity when you stay in a one bedroom.
Riviera Beach & Shores Resort – Capistrano Beach, CA
Riviera Beach & Shores Resort is an oceanfront property near the southern tip of Orange County, California.
It’s in a quiet area of the beach with hardly anybody else around.
We like coming down here for a few days at a time to enjoy the views and the peace and quiet.
Sunrise Ridge Resort – Pigeon Forge
Sunrise Ridge is a rustic resort near all of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg’s best attractions.
It’s tucked away outside of town with mountain views all around though.
Conclusion: Bell Rock Inn Sedona Review
Bell Rock Inn is a great place to stay when you’re visiting Sedona.
It’s one of the most affordable resorts in the area and it comes with more amenities than the standard hotel room that costs even more in this area.
Whether you’re a timeshare owner or not, it’s a great option in Sedona.
