Bellagio Las Vegas Hotel Review
As M life Rewards members, we were offered a complimentary 2 night stay at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
On one of our first trips to Vegas, we signed up for all of the casino rewards programs as a way to save money and enjoy extra perks on all of our visits and I highly recommend this to everyone visiting because it’s completely free.
Even if you don’t gamble, you still earn rewards from hotel stays and dining at the hotels.
When I saw the email offer I couldn’t believe it because the Bellagio is almost never offered for complimentary stays.
It’s usually places like Excalibur, New York New York, or Luxor.
This was the full offer:
- Up to 2 Complimentary Nights in a Luxurious Resort Room
- $50 in M life Rewards Resort Credit for Food and Beverage
- $40 in FREEPLAY
- Enjoy complimentary parking during your visit!
- Book by October 31st
The timing of this email was just impeccable.
We were scheduled to be in Vegas the weekend of October 17th for a birthday party and in an effort to save money we were only going to stay 2 nights at Polo Towers through another complimentary offer.
I could not turn this down because staying at the Bellagio was my dream, but it was always so much more expensive than all the other places we normally stayed at on the Strip.
Luckily they had all the dates available that I was considering.
There were even multiple room options beyond just their cheapest, most standard room.
We were able to choose an upgraded room option that was still complimentary – the Stay Well Resort King Room.
I love a good epsom salt bath, so I was very much looking forward to this stay!
Stay Well King Room
Below is a wide angle view of the room, minus the bathroom.
You can see that it has a little extra space compared to a standard hotel room.
There’s a sitting area, desk, armoire, dresser, nightstands, a bench at the foot of the bed, a King bed, and a nearly floor to ceiling window.
The armoire/dresser combo was really nice.
The tv was surprisingly small considering the rest of the room, but we’ve definitely had worse!
There is a built in mini fridge that comes fully stocked.
It’s monitored by a weighted system, so anything you take will automatically be charged to your room.
This is actually one of my biggest pet peeves with Las Vegas hotels.
They’re all mini-bars now so if you want to refrigerate your own drinks or leftovers, there’s no way to do this unless you bring your own mini fridge or keep everything on ice.
The timeshares in Vegas don’t do this though and they have full kitchens, so overall we prefer to stay in those, especially if we’re visiting for more than just a couple nights.
The memory foam bed was very comfy and the pillows were a good combo of fluffy and sturdy.
We slept great while we were here.
There was also a switch by the bed (and the front door) where you can open and close the curtains and the sheers.
So right from your bed you can open the curtains and let in light or when you’re ready to sleep you can close them without getting up.
Our view from this room was on the backside of the Bellagio, looking at Caesar’s Palace which was fine with me.
In the video linked at the top of this post you can also see the Eiffel Tower.
During our stay, everything was just opening back up, so each room had a little sanitization and wellness kit.
It had hand sanitizer (full sized bottle), 2 Bellagio face masks, 2 door openers/button pushers, and a little travel pouch.
It was a nice touch to an already great room.
We’ve stayed in dozens of hotels this year and I can tell you that the Bellagio is the ONLY one to do something like this.
Stay Well Bathrooms
The bathroom was the main reason I chose to cash in our complimentary stay on a Stay Well room as opposed to just a standard room.
In the photo below you can see that the vanity is pretty typical, but also has lights built into the mirror which makes applying makeup a little easier.
The drawers were stocked with every bathroom amenity you could possibly think of, but most importantly bath salts!
The tub is one of my favorite hotel tubs we’ve had.
It was so much deeper than the average tub, almost more like a hot tub, just without the jets.
There was plenty of space around the tub too for a towel, my phone, a bottle of water, and a snack.
This room also had a separate shower that had a shower head infused with vitamins.
I’ve looked into this to have at home too and was considering it when we moved, but just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
Others have said it does wonders for hair texture, especially for those with hard water.

Stay Well Premier Floor
Here’s a little more about the area where the hotel rooms are since I know most people only visit the casino floor area of the Bellagio or it’s restaurants.
There are plenty of elevators, which is something that’s always annoying about places that don’t have enough compared to the number of rooms they have.
So the wait for the elevator is always minimal and the elevators are kept up well.
The Stay Well rooms are all on their own exclusive floor, which really had a spa feel to it.
Why You Should Stay At Bellagio Hotel & Casino
You may be wondering, “So is the Bellagio a good place to stay?”, and the answer is yes, absolutely!
What is Special About Bellagio?
There are a lot of great perks of staying at the Bellagio.
For one, it is very centrally located on the Strip, so you have quick and easy access to any other resort, casino, or restaurant.
We usually spend most of our time around that area (Bellagio, Paris, Horseshoe, Flamingo, Harrah’s, etc) so it was perfect for us to be able to go back and visit our favorite spots.
The Bellagio itself also has some free entertainment.
Bellagio Conservatory
We always love to check out the newest exhibit at the Bellagio Conservatory every time we visit.
It is a free walkthrough with lots of great photo ops.
I believe they change up the exhibit about once a quarter or so.
In the past we’ve seen exhibits for the Fall, Lunar New Year, Spring, and some whimsical designs.
Bellagio Fountains
Of course there are also the Bellagio Fountains!
Everyone has to watch them at least once.
I could sit and watch them all night.
Luckily, there are many places around the Strip with a great view of the fountains, so you could actually sit and watch them all night if you wanted to.
We had a good view of them from the Beer Park at Paris if you want dinner with a free show!
Dining at the Bellagio
On top of just having the free room, we also had $50 in dining credits as part of our offer.
We knew exactly where we were going to spend it too.
There is an awesome restaurant just by the lobby called Noodles that we go to pretty much every single time we go to Vegas.
We love their Sweet and Spicy Noodles the most and I don’t eat spicy food!
When we went on this visit to use up our dining credit, we ordered the Sweet and Spicy Noodles, some Pot Stickers, and some Oolong Tea and it didn’t even use up the full $50.
So the next night we ordered some Sweet and Spicy Noodles to go to take up to our room.
I think it was the night of The Bachelorette premiere or something, so we wanted to stay in and watch it.
Their Pork Fried Rice is also really good!
Gambling at the Bellagio in Las Vegas
We also had a $40 in FREEPLAY credit to use during this stay, which provided some entertainment for us.
It had to be activated at the M life Rewards desk in the Bellagio, but since it was good at any MGM casino, I decided to use it elsewhere.
AKA somewhere where $40 would go a little further!
We spent a good portion of this trip exploring places I hadn’t been to yet like New York New York, Excalibur, and Luxor.
I ended up using my FREEPLAY at Excalibur and within a couple minutes I was up $40 so I cashed it out.
Is The Bellagio Adults Only?
The Bellagio is not an adults only hotel.
Anybody of any age can stay in the rooms here, but you do need someone 21+ to check in to the room.
Certain areas of the hotel will be adults only though like casino floor and bars.

So that was our experience staying at the Bellagio for the first time ever!
I recommend splurging for the Stay Well room so you get the nice tub and extra amenities.
But remember you can’t use the mini fridge for any of your own stuff, which applies to just about every Vegas hotel today.
