Delano Hotel Review – Las Vegas (2024)
Want to know what it’s like to stay at the Delano? We’ve got you covered with this in-depth Delano Hotel Review!
The Delano is a popular hotel on the far end of the Las Vegas Strip near Mandalay Bay and Luxor.
This trip when we stayed at the Delano was pretty last minute.
After coming home from our Maui anniversary trip in early February we had no future travel plans in the works.
However, JP’s son had mentioned wanting to go to Vegas some time.
Between timeshare points and casino rewards, we had tons of options for free stays.
We ended up going like a week later and stayed for 5 days and 4 nights.
But we had to split our stay because of availability issues.
We did the first night at the Delano and the other 3 nights in a 2 bedroom suite at Polo Towers.
You can see a full walk-through of our King Suite at the Delano in this video on our YouTube Channel!

Delano Las Vegas Hotel Review
For our stay at the Delano, JP had a free night stay from his casino rewards.
I had a bunch of free night stays at various Vegas hotels as well, but all of my options were studio rooms and that wouldn’t be ideal for the 3 of us.
The Delano was the only one that had the 1 bedroom option.
It also said it sleeps 3, so it was perfect.
Delano Hotel King Suite
The ONLY downside of our time there was that the 3rd person spot was just on the couch.
It wasn’t even a pullout couch.
Luckily we were just there for the one night and the couch was a bit larger than the average hotel room couch.
We had to have them bring up bedding for it as well, but it was just a minor inconvenience.
The living area also had a separate half bath which was super convenient with having the 3rd person sleeping out in the living room.
All of the room amenities were very upscale.
Definitely on par with the Bellagio.
King Suite Bedroom
The bedroom was very spacious and had a really nice tv and built in dressers.
The window was huge and allowed for a great view.
There was also a full bathroom attached to this room.
King Suite Bathroom
The rest of the room was AMAZING!
The bathroom had an awesome jacuzzi tub and a tv, so I spent a good chunk of my evening there.
There was also a separate shower and a double sink bathroom vanity.
The mirror also has built in lights which makes makeup application much better.
The toilet also has it’s own room within the bathroom.

Our Experience At The Delano
A great benefit of staying there is its location.
It’s not in the center of the Strip, but it is connected to all of the resorts and casinos in its area.
So you never have to step foot outside if it is freezing in the winter or 120 degrees in the summer.
You can walk through the Delano, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, and New York New York without having to walk out on the street!
To be honest, I had never even heard of this resort until JP took his son there for his 21st birthday a few years ago.
It’s not one of the more talked about resorts in my experience like the Bellagio or Caesar’s Palace.
But it was so bougie and the location was perfect for what we wanted to do.
We had never really ventured to that end of the Strip and this made it super convenient to do so.
The Delano King Suite also had a nice wet bar in the living room with a sink, Keurig, and fridge.
In Vegas, most hotels and resorts now stock their fridge, so anything you move in there you have to pay for and you can’t refrigerate your own things.
So we brought our own stuff to make Old Fashioned drinks and we brought our own wine.
It was nice having the sink to be able to rinse everything off without having to do it in the bathroom.
I would 100% go back to this place any time.
So on your next Vegas trip, if you find a good deal at this resort TAKE IT!

Using M Life Rewards To Get Free Rooms
With the free reward stays you usually just have to pay the resort fee which is usually something like $35-$45 a night depending on the resort.
Places like the Delano and Bellagio would be on the higher end and places like Paris and Bally’s (Horseshoe) are on the lower end.
We also don’t spend that much money at the casinos to earn these free stays.
Just by signing up for MGM’s rewards program you’ll be offered free stays periodically throughout the year.
It’s free to sign up too!
