Grand Beach Orlando Review – A Hilton Vacation Club Resort (2025)
Want to know what it’s like to stay at Grand Beach Orlando?
Grand Beach Orlando famously looks a lot like Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
It’s located just outside of Disney World’s property lines, closer to the Disney Springs side.
Grand Beach Orlando is a Hilton Vacation Club Resort, but you don’t have to be a timeshare owner to stay here!
During my visit, I was able to book a two bedroom unit, so that’s what I’ll be reviewing.
You can check out our full room tour in this video on our YouTube Channel!

Grand Beach Orlando Review
The two bedroom units are great for larger groups to travel together or just to have more space.
This resort has elevators, so you don’t have to lug any of your bags up the stairs.
The full kitchen is so convenient and such a money saver.
When I first checked in, I spent time in the lobby and exploring the pool area.
The pool area is smaller than most resorts, but I liked it that way.
Parking is also free!
Two Bedroom
Let’s take a look inside the two bedroom!
Living Room
The living room has seating for 6 people and plenty of table space to play board games or card games.
The tv isn’t huge, but it’s big enough for the size of the room.

Kitchen
I don’t have any pictures of the kitchen, but if you watch the Youtube video linked at the top you can see what it looks like.
One of the top reasons I tend to book timeshare resorts is to have a full kitchen.
We do work-cations a lot, so some days we’ll spend all day in the room.
It’s nice to be able to cook up something nutritious and not just order in food that is overpriced.
Primary Bedroom
The primary bedroom has a king bed and a ton of space.
There is a jacuzzi tub that sits right in the middle of the room too.

Primary Bathroom
My favorite rooms have jacuzzis.
I liked the set up of this one because there was plenty of ledge space to put my phone and a water.
At first I thought it was weird when these resorts would have jacuzzis right in the middle of the room, but it’s actually helpful to have so much extra space so you don’t get overheated as quickly.

The shower is right next to the shower and also just in open space in the bedroom.
The bedroom does have a door separating it from the rest of the unit, so you’re not actually showering out in the open.
There’s a decent sized vanity to put out everything you need and just to the left of this photo is a separate bathroom with a toilet.

Secondary Bedroom
The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and a small tv.
There’s also a closet in here.
It’s definitely better suited as a kids room since the beds are small, but it doesn’t have to be.

Secondary Bathroom
There is also a full second bathroom that is not attached to the second bedroom.
So it’s also accessible for other guests visiting you without having to go through your bedroom to get to it.
It doesn’t have a jacuzzi tub, but it does have a tub and shower.

Pricing
The two bedroom units typically go for about $189 a night, but it can range from $154-$209 throughout the year.
Of course there will also be peak travel times where rooms could end up being double this price, but that’s likely to be around Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
We usually try to spend less than $125 a night for hotels, but in Orlando and the Disney area, that’s highly unlikely.
So to be able to get a 2 bedroom that sleeps 6 people for less than $200 is a great deal.
Disney’s studio rooms consistently cost more than that and so does every hotel in the area.
Using Timeshare Points For Your Stay
I originally bought my timeshare through Diamond Resorts, but Hilton bought them out a couple years ago.
My points system is still based off of the Diamond Resorts system, but I’ll convert everything for you so it makes sense.
7,500 points is considered 10-14 nights per year, according to Diamond, but for us, we usually get 21-25 nights out of these since we only use points on discounted stays.
When calculating the total cost of our timeshare, including yearly maintenance fees, our timeshare costs just about $3,920 per year.
This stay cost me 750 points for 2 nights in May on the Tuesday – Thursday leading into Mother’s Day weekend.
So, this stay cost the equivalent of $392 for 2 nights, or $196 per night.
Now, that doesn’t sound like a great deal, especially since we tend to spend less than $125 per night, but this was a 2 bedroom unit, which is significantly larger than a studio or standard 1 bedroom.
Additionally, our timeshare gives us lots of “freebies” throughout the year that include free points, gift cards, and experiences.
When I factor in those things that we otherwise wouldn’t get, then our timeshare is really costing us about $2,970 per year.
If we calculate our stay based off of this number, then the cost of our total stay was really only $297, or $148.50 per night.
This is much more in line with how we tend to use our points.
Resort Amenities
I didn’t get to check out the entire resort since I was only there for a couple nights.
But I did explore the pool and the lobby.
Pool
The pool offers free aqua fitness classes throughout the week.
I only visited the Clubhouse Pool and they were actually in the middle of the class, so I didn’t want to disturb them by taking pictures.
I’m guessing the Oasis Pool is probably the main pool or larger pool.

Lobby
The lobby had a variety of drinks and snacks available when I checked in.
It’s really nice and clean and really vibrant and white.
The lobby isn’t huge so it’s not really a gathering place type lobby.
There are a lot of buildings on property to it’s easy to get lost, but there’s signage literally all over.

Overall Experience
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.
It’s a much quieter resort than the others I stayed at in the area.
I liked being able to park right under my building and take the elevator straight up to my room.
I liked that the pool area was smaller and quieter, not having loud music or loud groups all day.
The layout of the room was nice and having a large primary bedroom was nice.
Like I said before I always enjoy a room with a good jacuzzi and a full kitchen.
More Of Our Favorite Places To Stay In Orlando
Here are a few more timeshare resorts in the Orlando area that we enjoy, all of which are also Hilton Vacation Club resorts!
Grande Villas Resort
Grande Villas is just across the street from Cypress Pointe, so it is conveniently located to all things Disney!
There is an on-site pizza & deli restaurant, full bar, and Starbucks coffee too.
The tub is really the highlight of the room though.

Mystic Dunes Resort
Mystic Dunes is one of the Diamond timeshares that really has a resort vibe, but the setting of being in Orlando, Florida probably plays a big part in that.
It’s just south of Disney World, with easy access to the parks.
The rooms are spacious and well kept, with just about every amenity when you stay in a one bedroom.

Cypress Pointe
Cypress Pointe is another Hilton resort and it is actually right across the street from the Grande Villas resort!
The studio rooms here are unique in that they are more like a honeymoon suite and they are so affordable considering they are right outside of Disney Springs.

Aqua Sol
Aqua Sol, formerly Liki Tiki Village, is the most resort style timeshare we’ve ever stayed in.
They have their own water park, mini golf course, and tons of other resort amenities.
Newly renovated and so cheap, it’s a favorite for Orlando visits.

More Of Our Favorite Hilton Timeshare Resorts In The US
1. Ka’anapali Beach Club – Maui
Ka’anapali Beach Club is located on Maui and is one of the most coveted of all of Diamond’s properties.
It’s in a great location, just down the road from Lahaina.
Plus, we enjoyed having the full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, and our beautiful ocean view.

2. Polo Towers – Las Vegas, Nevada
Polo Towers is right on the Las Vegas Strip, across from The Cosmopolitan.
We love the central location of this resort, as well as having a full kitchen because most Vegas hotels today have their fridge full of drinks that have insane mark ups, making them un-useable for yourself.
We’ve stayed in a variety of room types here over the years including a Two Bedroom, Studio Efficiency, and 1 Bedroom Accessible Room.
3. Historic Powhatan Resort – Williamsburg, Virginia
We absolutely loved staying at this resort in Williamsburg.
It was one of our more affordable timeshare visits and the unit had everything we needed.
We had just a One Bedroom, but it was 3 stories and set up like a townhome.
The first floor was the entrance, the second floor had a kitchen, dining room, full bathroom, bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and laundry.
Then the top floor was like a converted loft or attic with a tv, couch, and coffee table.

4. Palm Canyon Resort – Palm Springs, California
Palm Canyon Resort is the premiere timeshare resort in Palm Springs.
We love staying here for fun stay-cations every so often because it’s always discounted within 30-60 days or less of travel.
They have a great pool with a hot tub and water slides built into the rocks.

5. The Suites at Fall Creek – Branson, Missouri
Last but not least, we love Diamond’s resort in Branson.
It’s set back along a creek, hence the name, so it’s a quite woodsy experience just outside of town.
It’s still close enough to everything too.
What we loved about this room was the counter space in the kitchen, the screened in porch, and the open layout of the room.
The One Bedroom layout here could easily be the equivalent of a real one bedroom apartment.
6. San Luis Bay Inn – Avila Beach, CA
San Luis Bay Inn is situated just above Avila Beach on a hill top along the central coast of California.
It’s in walking distance to this quiet beach town and it’s boardwalk of shops and restaurants.

7. Riviera Beach & Shores Resort – Capistrano Beach, CA
Riviera Beach & Shores Resort is an oceanfront property near the southern tip of Orange County, California.
It’s in a quiet area of the beach with hardly anybody else around.
We like coming down here for a few days at a time to enjoy the views and the peace and quiet.

8. Riviera Oaks Resort & Racquet Club – near San Diego
Riviera Oaks is a quiet resort in the town of Ramona, just outside of San Diego.
It’s a perfect getaway for wine tasting in Ramona or visiting the historic gold rush town of Julian.
9. Bell Rock Inn – Sedona, Arizona
Bell Rock Inn is a timeshare resort just South of the city center of Sedona.
It’s an older, smaller property, but it’s the most effective use of timeshare points.
Our stay was the equivalent of only about $65 a night!
10. Varsity Clubs of America – Tucson, Arizona
This resort is the only place we stay in Tucson and we drive through here A LOT on our frequent road trips.
If you book with 30 days of your visit it’s pretty cheap.
We love the pool and hot tub here because it usually stays warm enough in the evenings to enjoy both.
It’s a quieter, no frills place and it’s right in the middle of town, centrally located to everything in Tucson.
The One Bedroom units are perfect with their full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, and dining table.

11. Varsity Clubs of America – South Bend, Indiana
South Bend is famously known as the home of the University of Notre Dame.
Varsity Clubs of America is a great, inexpensive place to stay when you’re visiting the area.
It also makes for a great home base for day trips to places like Indiana Dunes National Park and Chicago.

12. Sunrise Ridge Resort – Pigeon Forge
Sunrise Ridge is a rustic resort near all of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg’s best attractions.
It’s tucked away outside of town with mountain views all around though.

The Wrap-Up: Grand Beach Orlando Review
Grand Beach Orlando is a quieter resort and cheaper than a standard hotel room.
It’s less than 15 minutes from Disney World, with all the amenities of home.
Free parking, full kitchens, 2 pools, and a jacuzzi in the primary bedroom.
