InnSeason Resorts Captain’s Quarters Review
This resort is absolutely beautiful and in the best location.
The architecture matches the rest of the area and it’s right on the water.
It’s in a quieter area that wasn’t too busy when we visited in the Spring time.
Room Types
When we stayed here, we were in a one bedroom.
You can see a full walk-through of this room type on our YouTube Channel.
I pulled some snippets from our YouTube video and included a few wide lens photos so you can get a better idea of the layout of the room.
Living Room
The living room is on the smaller side, but I would describe it more as cozy or cottage-y.
The dining table is small, but since it was just the two of us it was large enough for us to eat meals here and to use as a work space.
Kitchen
The kitchen is considered a partial or mini kitchen, though it has everything except for an oven.
So as you can see there’s a full sized refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove top, sink, and a variety of appliances.
The kitchen is stocked with most of the essentials like dishes, utensils, and cookware that you would need for basic cooking.
If there’s something missing you can always call up the front desk and ask if housekeeping has any extras.
Sometimes when we travel we like to bring a crock pot with us so we have even more cooking options during our timeshare stays.
We tend to visit timeshares as part of work-cations, so having the kitchen is helpful in being able to eat during our work day and save money on not having to go out for dinner every single night.
Bedroom
The bedroom is really the centerpiece of the entire villa.
There’s a king sized bed, huge jacuzzi tub, and a cozy fireplace.
Plus, just outside the sliding door is the perfect beach view.
Really the only downside is that the tv is too small for the room.
But during our visit we were working or exploring the surrounding area, so we didn’t use the tv all that often.
I absolutely loved having this jacuzzi in the room though.
I even bought some bath bombs when we took a day trip out to Nantucket.
Bathrooms
There are actually 2 full bathrooms in this room, which is really nice and convenient, especially if you have an extra guest or two sleeping out on the couch.
The bedroom has it’s own ensuite bathroom, that is pretty much a mirror of the second bathroom.
The second bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen.
This worked well for us when we were working during the day because we each had our own separate working space and bathroom so we wouldn’t be disturbing the other person if they were on calls or in meetings.

Room Pricing
We booked our stay at this resort through a Resort Vacation Certificate from Wyndham Destinations.
JP used to work for them and was able to purchase certificates at a discounted rate during the holidays for I think something like $45-$75.
Other times I think the certificates are closer to $150.
I think these are available for Wyndham timeshare owners, but I’m not sure.
I know you can definitely get them for free from attending timeshare sales meetings though.
But anyway, these certificates pay for your entire 7 night stay.
So for us, our entire week here only cost us whatever we spent on the certificate.
If you go the route of booking it on your own either directly through the resort or through your preferred booking platform like you would for any other resort stay, then you can expect to spend about $150-$200 a night depending on the time of year.
Peak vacation times may increase the average price per night, especially if there are any special events or festivals in the area.

Resort Amenities
The resort has a large outdoor heated pool and 2 bbq areas with picnic tables.
The beach is also directly across the street.
Other than that, there’s not much else that the resort itself offers.
Most of the other amenities are in your room like the jacuzzi, kitchen, and fireplace.
Overall Experience
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at this resort.
The jacuzzi tub was amazing and we liked having a fireplace and kitchen.
We were working during our stay here, so having a kitchen, dining table, and separate bedroom gave us everything we needed to work.
It’s also conveniently located to a ton of sightseeing that we wanted to do during our visit like Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and driving the entire Cape Cod National Seashore.
We also used this resort as a home base for taking day trips to Boston, Plymouth, Salem, and Minute Men National Historical Park.
We stayed here as part of an epic 52 day US road trip and drove up from Newport, Rhode Island for this portion of our trip.
After Cape Cod we went down to The Poconos.
